Hey now, anyone who's hiked from Campo to McKenzie Pass in Oregon in one go
has his long-distance hiking cred in fine shape, regardless of whether he
actually completed a thru-hike in one season or not.  I disagree with Scott
on a lot of things but on this I'll back him up.  :-)
