[pct-l] More at Sonora, go around water

As of yesterday at least five hikers have made it to Sonora Pass per www.trailjournals.com/entry.cfm?id=353107.

He makes a good point about going even a few miles up or down stream to cross if needed. 

I did this in 1998 where the trail crosses the South Fork of the Kings River at the lowest point between Pinchot and Mather Passes. The water was rapids but it was easy to follow the east bank (the trail is on the west) 3 or 4 miles to Upper Basin below Mather where the river is just an infant.
