[pct-l] Erik the Black's Maps: They're Excellent!!!

Not to inflame the thread, but this was said by others on trail as well, notably frog, who regretted buying them and wished he'd used halfmiles free maps once he saw ours.

I have seen online supporters of Eriks books, but never heard a good review of them when I was on the trail

Now yogis books... For all their opinions ... And maybe some errors, were almost universally accepted as 'worth carrying' and 'worth the price'

Btw, the op mentions halfmiles maps having the cost of printing associated with them, ideally I would say load them on a garmin... But even printed on paper you can't compare the price of the two... 50 to 65$ worth of printing costs for big colour maps,  vs what Erik charges.
