[pct-l] loading Halfmile maps and waypoints in Droid X

I am new to the whole smartphone thing but I am considering the Droid  
X.  I has hoping you could answer a few questios.

1) What maps will you download?
2) What is the battery life and how will you recharge them?
3) How much of the trail will you be able to use GPS (get a signal)?
