[pct-l] Superfeet and Ponchos

Good morning, Sam,

Years ago, after having been a long-time user of custom molded orthotics, I
gradually switched to green SuperFeet and continue to wear them today in all
my shoes. They start out a bit stiff, but since I have 5-6 pair I can
always find a well-formed set to take on the trail.

I haven’t found a correlation between SuperFeet – or any kind of insoles –
and plantar fasciitis. I’m occasionally troubled with plantar fasciitis but
it’s only because I’ve neglected my regular hamstring stretching. For me,
if I stretch I don’t have a problem. If I neglect to stretch I soon start
limping. Search "plantar fasciitis" and numerous sites can be found that
describe the preferred stretches. The sites that don’t mention stretching
are trying to sell something.
