Everybody should sign up, even the thru-hikers if they can. Then they  
know how much food to cook. But you don't have to worry about a  
campsite or the campground getting too full for you. Thru-hikers are  
the guests of honor and there will be plenty of room. Just make sure  
you sign up so there's enough meat, tortillas and pink bandanas.  
(Actually we don't know what color they are going to be yet.)
