[pct-l] Bears: Risk of becoming a fatality? Statistics of interest here

My hike "went public" at work last week, so I've been filling in a couple
co-workers each day.
Today I was asked if I was taking a gun. It made me laugh. I told him I'm
much much safer on the trail then around all these dangerous humans!
