[pct-l] ULA Ohm

Ryan,

I used the Ohm on an 800 mile hike and loved it. This included a long
waterless stretch where I carried 24 pounds of water on top of my 10 pound
base weight. It did surprisingly well when overloaded and was very
comfortable at less than 25 pounds. Fitting a bear can might be difficult.
You could strap it on top empty. I did this with a Vapor Trail on the PCT.
I also have a P2, which is an early version of the Catalyst, which I use on
winter trips. It is great for heavier loads. I can't say enough good about
ULA.

Tom

Subject: [pct-l] ULA Ohm

I'm torn between two packs: ULA Ohm or Circuit. I called up ULA ready to

order the Ohm but the guy *strongly* suggested I go with the Circuit so now

I am in reconsider mode, seeking input from others. Has anyone thru-hiked

with an Ohm or seen many on the PCT? I really like the compression options

and I love the weight. I am particularly concerned about the BV500

fitting. I know it will fit, but will anything else? My base weight

is ~9lb. Thanks, Ryan
