someone should calculate how many calories per liter this water has,  so we can 
adjust our food loads accordingly and then just risk botulism  ; )


... joking of course please filter etc.  no matter how tough you are, you will 
NOT enjoy having nasty water as your only water.

the fire tank at rodrigez is almost the stuff of legends ... an old rusty

in 2010 the ornwers of the outfitter in julian brought in a 450 gallon tank
on 
the back of their 4X4 and hikers did not have to endure this, traditionally,

horrible PCT right of passage.  i consider myself blessed.
