For anyone planning to park at the main lodge at mammoth while hiking, take note that because they are paving the big parking lot there, any overnight parking for the next couple of weeks for hikers and others using the Red’s Meadow shuttle bus, is at the Chairlift #2 parking lot which is about ½ mile towards town from the main lodge.
