[pct-l] accessing faq's and archives, budget qustions

Greetings,

Mob mentality. It appears that a lot of criticism I've read recently is the contemptible and cowardly act of kicking someone while he's down. Scott's a big boy, and he can take it as well as give it. My concern is what it says about us. 

A couple of messages today could benefit those on the trail and those planning to be on the trail. Widespread dissemination would have value and would cause no harm - except to easily bruised egos. A lot of the information on the list is valuable to me, but little of it rises to the level of needing copyright protection. Possible exceptions: Barbara Soini and Lon Cooper. IMHO, and I'm the humblest man on the list. 

The best writing here is freely given, and its value would increase, rather than diminish if it were more widely available.
