I'm not going to get into what is 'right' or 'wrong' regarding this subject - just a couple of
short observations...
I read the list 'online' via the archives, <http://mailman.backcountry.net/pipermail/pct-l/>...
No emails at all other than some 'copied' replies to some of my posts - which I don't do much
anymore for numerous reasons...
FWIW, there is NO "additional text" shown in Eric's post when viewed via the 'archive'...
Nor is there ANY 'note' on pct-l's subscription or edit preferences/unsubscribe page regarding
"copyright" of any kind whatsoever...
