Well, then, I should ask the obvious question. Has anybody thought of making
an active-hiker only dedicated forum? I mean, these internet forums take
like ten minutes to set up right? :) Seems like enough people are making
regular internet access a large part of their hike to warrant such a thing.
Or even just a color coding system to make quick scanning easier? Blue for
on-trail hiker, yellow for active angel, green for bloviator, and white for
ninjas?

I guess I wish there was a place I could go to shout out to people up and
down the trail within a few sections about current issues and gossip. I was
thinking some sort of live google map tagging thingie would be great. Like
foursquare or something. One big map for everybody where we can leave sticky
notes and warnings attached to gps location. Oh well, if I wasn't just most
recently trained in Quick Basic for DOS....
