[pct-l] Fwd: TICK ALERT

A newbie lurker here. I've never done a hike-thru (though I love reading all
the valuable information and stories).

I live in SoCal (in fact, not far from Vasquez Rocks)... and, I've got to
say: the past two years have been HORRIBLE when it comes to ticks. I've got
to say, one of the best things we've ever bought was a little spoon thing
called, "Ticked-Off." Way quicker and cleaner than any tweezers I've ever
used. I've not had to use it on me (knock on wood), only the dogs. But, it's
a god-send when removing ticks.
