[pct-l] Heavy duty snow in Truckee

Hi gang,
I have been trying to warn the list about the heavy snow fall in the 
Sierra since December without much success.
Mammoth Mountain has had over 600" so far this year
A good friend of mine who lives in Truckee, near the PCT, and probably 
spends more time in the Sierra, including the winter, than anybody I 
know, tells me "this is one of the worst snow years he has ever seen".
Donner summit has had over 740" so far and it ain't over yet.
I am forwarding 2 videos of the snow condition in Truckee to give you a 
visual understanding of the current Sierra condition so "North Bounders" 
can prepare accordingly.
I am not kidding you, this is bad stuff out there this year.
Don't get into trouble by getting caught unprepared with your pants down.
It is snowing in the Sierra right now and I am getting ready to head for 
Mammoth this weekend for another week of skiing.
