Amtrak is best. Look for the older people in red jackets at the airport....they
are volunteers for Travelers Aid. Tell them u need to get to Union Station for
Amtrak to San Diego. They will help u get all the info u need. No reservations
needed. Then when u catch Amtrak they have comfy seats, food and libations so u
can relax!. The Greyhound is a pain in the butt and not so nice....stinky people
sitting really close to u...o wait...sounds like a hitch with a van full of
hiker trash...lol

g'day g'day,
just wondering... with options like amtrak and greyhound buses, do you need
to book them in advance, or can you just rock up and book a ticket? and is a
greyhound bus likely to be the cheapest way to get san diego from los
angeles?
thanks,
skids.
