I found an interesting package of instant Mexican refried beans at Walmart
in the Mexican isle. 7oz package makes 26 oz 720 cal or 102 cal/oz.

Can't help you with the dehydration process, but make sure you test
your dehydrated beans to make sure they will rehydrate without a
stove. The kind that I've always used are available in bulk bins at
the health food stare as black bean soup, not whole beans.
