No. I wore my original jacket when I hiked the Colorado Trail in 2006. It rained 47 out of 50 days, and some of those days were all day on the trail or all day in towns. Have you emailed Marmot about this problem?

Anyone have any problems with the Marmot Precip wetting out after long hard
 rain. Thinking of buying the marmot Oracle rain jacket at a bit more
weight  with strata membrain. I know the Precip is big on trail but beats the
hell out  of me why.   Panama
