But wait! Pray tell, has the CDC found a stream or lake water along
the PCT that contains Cryptosporidium? ...just wondering....
You can filter all week long, but if you partake of food prepared by
someone who has not practiced the best hygiene, you're doomed.
Seems there might be an unwarranted emphasis on the water, without any
evidence. Ever wonder why diarrhea outbreaks among hikers might occur
in clusters? They are not all drinking unfiltered water.
