Sedona Triangle Reinhold writes: You don't say Switchback, I am packing up to go to Sedona for a week...I got that sudden urge to go for a walk in the woods. Say Switchback, as I was admiring myself in the mirror the other day I noticed that my hair is tinning out and I noticed a small bald spot on the back of my head. This upset me terribly....I mean a bald spot diminishes your "Macho" image and makes you less appealing to the women. So, as I was sitting there all depressed and feeling sorry for myself, a bright light came on and I realized that hair weighs and therefore the less hair the lighter and from a true ultra-lighters point of view...."every oz. counts...and the lighter the better". All of a sudden I am not depressed anymore. Well, got to go now, Sedona is calling me

Switchback replies: Yes, Sedona is a great place to train for the PCT. I bet you come back from there saying things like, "Ohmmmmmm......" You will be known as the SunPose Bald Eagle Reinhold. I can see it now. During the 2011 PCT campaign, some hikers will be barreling down the trail and come upon you tied up in a yoga knot doing the Complete Breath. And you cannot get yourself untied. Most likely they will kick you out of the way and keep heading toward Canada as you bounce down the slope. Or they will auction you off to the next Indians they meet on the trail. You could be used as a baldheaded basketball around their camp. That would be cool.
Be safe and have a good time.
