[pct-l] REI Used Gear Sale Tomorrow

*Hey Wes,
Thank you for reminding me....I forgot all about that....my memory is 
not what it used to be.
I am getting forgetful in my old age and sometimes find myself wondering 
am I on the JMT?... or on  the PCT?....or am I perhaps on the CDT?
Let's see now,  am I supposed to be going north or south?
Am I lost?....NEVER....I am never lost....not me, not JMT Reinhold.
I know were I am...I'm somewhere on the North American Continent...I 
just don't know exactly where.
But I am not lost....not me....not JMT Reinhold.
So, if you ever see an old hiker in Wisconsin, looking for the 
JMT,...IT'S ME....JMT Reinhold.

Wes, I missed out on the "hydraulic loader"....Bummer....it would have 
been handy putting on the
"Heavy Trucker" packs when I hike with my wife or the scouts.
I did,  however, manage to get a backpack compactor.
This will really come in handy when I go "Heavy Trucker" and can't seem 
to get all my gear into my pack.
The compactor will compress everything so I not only get everything in 
but I'll have room for more.
I also was very fortunate to find "Heavy Trucker" knee braces.
The knee braces prevent the knees from buckling & shaking, stabilize the 
legs and make hiking with a "Heavy Trucker" pack much easier.
I did not have any luck with the women.
Seems the word got around that Reinhold was coming to the sale, so all 
the guys were hording their women and were giving me that  "EVIL" 
look.....Bummer!!!
So I decided to just concentrate on the gear and as a result got some 
really good stuff.

Thanks a lot again Wes for reminding me of the sale.

For anyone out there in Orange County, CA, REI Santa Ana is moving their 
store to a Tustin.
This years used gear sale will have an additional 30% off. The sale 
begins tomorrow morning at 9am.

(It was delayed due to rain today.)

If you go early enough, you "heavy truckers" might be able to pick up a cheap Backpack-Hydraulic-
Loading Device - kinda like an engine remover - to put on your 90lb packs!  (May also find my own
personal favorite, the "Anti-Snake Tone Generator" to ward off rattlesnakes.  I've only been bitten
three times since using mine!)  Rumor has it that Reinhold is going to show up to goose all present
females while making sure everybody gets along.  Should be fun!   ; )
