[pct-l] Walker Pass Food Ruck Fast Approaching

Yes, it is almost here --- King Ruck. Scores, hundreds, thousands of PCT hikers are planning to be at the Ruck (June 3-6). The herd affect will be of Mt. Everest proportions. This is great. Meet new friends and catch up with old friends. Bring some goodies for all the hikers. If you are driving in, bring folding chairs and tables.

Manyon Ed is in-charge and his birthday is mid June. He will be 80, no, huh, 60'ish years old. He is a master chef of biblical proportions. Switchback will be painting shelter stakes florescent orange, so you do not lose them on your trek. There will probably be some Cougar Terminator Female Leadership Types harassing Switchback --- trying to collect the bounty reward. 

I was thinking I should probably suspend the second shipment of M&M's to Hiker Heaven and just bring them to Walker Pass. That is simpler and easier. So, the Desert Solitaire shipment will be at Walker Pass. Donuts, pastries, and M&M's --- a culinary delight. This will create great gnashing of teeth with the healthy nutritious crowd. That is always fun to see them get upset. May be they will be at the Ruck with protest signs and picketing. That would be so cool. I look forward to throwing M&M’s at them.

Remember, there will be steak, chicken, vegetarian, and milkshakes at the Ruck too --- along with lots of other goodies. So, pick up your pace to make it or slow down to sync with the June 3-6 dates.
