I was able to successfully charge mt iphone 3GS. The iphone was fully
discharged at the time and charged to full within an hour..

Does the L6 have a special charging circuit like my old razr has ?/ I could
never get that phone to charge from anything other than the motorola razr
charger. I saw an explanation on the web about it once. It required a hack
of the cable to put a certain resistance on the data pins so that the razr
would be fooled into thinking that it was connected to an authorized
charger.

Fortunately, the new iphones don't require anything special...

I am going to field test it this weekend on a small two day outing..I'll
start with depleted eneloops and see how well they charge with the unit tied
to my pack...and I know that I can definitely run my iphone out of
juice..I'll report back on Monday/..
