That sounds fine, but not really public transportation.  Sounds more like a shuttle.  Fresno is in California right, so I guess VVR is too.  My 2010 plans are pretty well fixed, but I'll look forward to next year!  VVR sounds like the place to go!

  Absolutely.  VVR can arrange transportation for you between Fresno and VVR.  Just call the resort at 559-259-4000 a couple of weeks before you need the transportation and set it up.  The charge is $175 for the first 2 people, $25 each additional.  I think the most they can transport is 4 hikers right now.  And the trip from Fresno to VVR is about 3 hours; the last hour is the 15 mile access road to VVR... so plan accordingly!
