Lone Pine is one of the best stops on the trail.

Good food, great resupply at the market and "Elevations" the outfitter has a
tremendous inventory of quality gear. The owner is PCT friendly to boot.
In addition, the Film Museum offers you incredibly inexpensive ($5)
entertainment that will fill a few hours on your zero day. Dow Villa is
simply the best place to stay.
