If you are thinking about one of the ultralight packs, you might  
consider the Gossamer Gear G4. It's 4000 cubic inches and can handle  
that weight. It is also very sturdy. I did some rather severe  
bushwhacking using mine and while I came out all bloody the pack was  
nearly unscathed. Just one tiny tear in the mesh. Except for the  
smell, you wouldn't be able to tell that it had been on such a long  
hike.

It's probably not the most comfortable pack out there, but it is an  
option that meets your specifications.
