It's on at 6pm here in the midwest (central time).  The description given by
Time Warner Cable is:

"The Pacific Crest Trail is a 2650-mile stretch that runs through a desert,
a volcano, a forest and North America's largest hot spring."

That's a direct quote.  Doesn't sound very extreme to me.  In fact, it's
pretty ludicrous.  Who writes this stuff?

----------------------------------------------------------------------------In Chicago area:  AT&T universe description on Nat Geo:  6:00 P.M.
“Pacific Crest Trail” – A 2650 mile hiking trail runs from British Columbia, Canada
To California’s border with Mexico, passing through Mountainous Wilderness
In Washington state, Oregon and California as well as the ‘US’ hottest desert and oldest forest.

Not bad, but written for the southbounder and neglects our equestrian friends
