[pct-l] Snow Conditions in Section "P"

Apologies if I have missed something valuable recently on this subject.  Has
anyone been up on the trail between Castle Crags and Etna recently?  I had
been planning to hike that section in mid July and based on my experience
several years ago I had assumed the trail would be mostly snow free.  It is
beginning to sound like this may not be the case.  Can anyone enlighten the
group on current conditions in section P?
