This is what I do.  Go here, and scroll to the bottom and enter your info.  You want to change your subscriptions options.  http://mailman.backcountry.net/mailman/listinfo/pct-l

You are going to turn off email delivery as if you were going on vacation.  You can still email the list and have your messages posted but you won't receive anything. To read the list, you can then goto the archives and read each message at your leisure selecting only what you want to read:  http://mailman.backcountry.net/pipermail/pct-l/
