If such commercial services available, I would like to be a customer.
I may re-visit JMT this summer. Now, I am working for money, I
cannot obtain long holidays, except August.

I am a Japanese. I had no foreign experience. Last summer, I flied to
United States and hiked JMT, simply because many information were
available at WWW. But, there were some difficulties.

1. It took about 300 dollars to sent my package to Tuolumne Meadow
and Vermilion Valley Resort .
2. I could not send beef and rice, so I sent powdered milk and
couscous in place of them.
3. I could not send my package to Muir Trail Ranch, because they
wanted a plastic bucket as a package, but the plastic bucket cannot
obtain in Japan. So, I decided to skip Muir Trail Ranch.
4. At VVR, I purchased only 3 packs of beef jerky. There remained
only three packs. So I eat small amount of beef every day, and I eat
powdered milk and granola as a dessert. (I had included enough
powdered milk in my package)

I always eat whole grains and much dried vegetables. (Vegetables are
bulky, so my backpack was huge) That is my preference. I think this
is good for my health. The store of VVR was smaller than expected,
and the stock of food is unreliable. I became acquainted with the a
few hikers, but I hesitates to ask them on the package. They are at
job, and it is a time consuming task to collect foods and sent
package. So, I think the commercial service will be the best.
