Even though I was hiking last year I had to get off the trail for awhile due to an injury...I got my bus and took it to some angels houses and help out with rides and also to Castella and yeh too much fun! Plus then u can keep in touch with all the hikers u've met...good times! cya on the trail! hugs

A while back I asked if anybody was aware of any commercial services that
might hold resupply packages and ship them out at set dates. I received a
half dozen very kind offers to hold our packages and provide this support.
So much generosity in this community!
I hadn't considered before that people might actually really enjoy the
opportunity to provide this support, to learn a bit about resupply for their
own future hike, to be connected to someone out on the trail, or just to
give something back. It got me to thinking that perhaps someone could set
up a forum similar to the ride-board for the ADZPCTKO, to connect people
needing resupply package support and those willing to hold and ship them
out. I'd love to set something up but have far too much to do between now
and April.
Maybe there aren't that many people needing this sort of assistance. For us
the cost of having our packages shipped from Canada would be at least double
and there's the potential complications of shipping food and supplies over
the border as what's not allowed can and does change regularly (i.e. beef
products).
Anyway, just wanted to share the idea of a forum for this purpose, and to
send out my thanks to all the kind folks who offered to help us out!
Cheers,
P178
