For that kind of capacity 4-2 liter soda bottles or 5-1.5 liter aquafina 
bottles work great.

They're cheap, bomb proof, you don't have to wash them and recycle them when 
you're done. Personally, for normal capacities I would use 2-1 liter soda 
bottles and recycle them every week or 2.
