I have Found the newer filtration systems work pretty good some very light
 and packable old school Iodine and fine cheese cloth to filter the larger
organic material works. I have been reading about this folding solar still
that a person from south africa is working on kinda looks like a micro
mars rover it has the ability to produce a liter of  pure water a hour by
boiling condensing  sort of like those new gizmo tea pots
