[pct-l] Digital maps

I have a Garmin GPS and preload their topo maps from MapSource. However, I
find them useless for detailed info. Sometimes looking at a very large area
helps identify distant peaks. I also carry Natl Geographic Topo Maps that I
have printed out using UTM coordinates. That is my primary reference. When I
need to know my  exact location, I will turn the gps on, get the
coordinates, and look them up  on the map.
