[pct-l] Poncho/tarp

The disposable, emergency ponchos I have are made by Texsport, Item #32770, PVC, one size fits all with attached hood with a weight of about 3 ounces with the included protective plastic bag carrying it. This would not be recommended for anything but temporary rain protection. This poncho is very thin and will likely fail if used for a shelter. I think a 5 mph breeze would rip it apart.

You can find many sellers online (google the description above) for this emergency poncho, cost was about $1 each, it is the shipping that is brings the cost up.

Hope this helps.
