[pct-l] outes, Yosemite Hike in Late July

I'll be going from Tuolumne Meadows to White Wolf, via Glen Aulin, in late July, my first time in that area.  I had planned on going down the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne, but then read something about it being pretty buggy that time of year.  So now I'm thinking about going across Ten Lakes Pass instead.  Anyone have any thoughts about either of these routes?
