[pct-l] Transportation to Onyx or Kennedy Meadows?

Hey all,

I'm planning on a trip on a portion of the PCT, and my 2 friends and I 
are hoping to start where the PCT crosses highway 178 or at Kennedy 
Meadows.  Does anyone know of good transportation options to those 
points (besides hitching) or of good transportation options to any 
points near that part of the trail.  None of us have cars operable 
enough to drive out to California from New Mexico.  Any advice you guys 
have would be great!
