[pct-l] High Fat Food and thru hiking

 There are SO many theories about fat, carbs, proteins, dieting, nutrition, etc.

Every diet type has worked...and not worked. 

The Inuit would be surprised to hear that a high fat diet is bad! :O

Then there are other example of high protein diets, high carb diets, low carb diets, etc..etc..etc.


For a relatively brief amount of time (like a thru-hike), just eat calorie dense food. Eat what works. You'll body will tell you. :)

Off trail I go with the boring-but-tried-and-true formula of  lots of veggies, whole grains and lean meats. Couple with
regular exercise. Seems to work. ;)
