Jim, you might try your local thrift shop. I've seen lots of Ex- 
officio brand zip-off, though usually in men's XL. I think the Ex- 
officio fabric is very cool.

For pants, they don't have to be any particular brand so much as they  
are light and dry quickly. Most any of the brands of lightweight  
hiking pants will work. Just try to get the ones that aren't shiny.  
Those seem hotter. Nylon seems cooler than polyester, too, but  
usually the fancier brands will call their fabric some schmancy name  
that obscures what they're made of.

Sometimes fishing gear is the same as hiking gear only cheaper, so  
you might check there, too.
