I'm sure Patti meant that as humor, but..... NEVER run from a bear. They'll chase you and they're much faster than you. You'll turn an encounter into something far worse (for you).

  not only that! u can NOT be more than 30' from the bear for it to actually work...if ur that close...ur TOO dam close! drop the can and RUUUUUNNNN!
