not only that! u can NOT be more than 30' from the bear for it to actually work...if ur that close...ur TOO dam close! drop the can and RUUUUUNNNN!

A. You don't need it in the Sierras or Cascades. 
B. If you ever use it be very aware of wind conditions as the stuff sold as bear spray atomizes in the air and will blow back on you in the slightest whisper of a breeze, blinding you when you least need to be blinded.
