No arguments with anything U suggested (moleskins don't work 4 me
either)...just wanted to interject that I use Duct Tape when my feet start
having an issue in 1 place or another.

Another vote here against Moleskin. It's too thick and doesn't stick well
enough.
The absolute best material I've found to use on my feet is Kinesio Tex tape.
It's pretty expensive but it's fantastic stuff. The adhesive is just strong
enough to stick for days without messing up my skin or my socks, and the
thickness is just enough to protect vulnerable areas without changing the
way my shoes fit, and it's flexible and breathable.
The best strategy for me is to tape the areas that tend to get blistered
*before I start walking* rather than wait until I already have hot spots.
This has worked great for me and one application lasts 3-5 days.
