[pct-l] JMT Bread, was: Re: The Truth....was McNuggets Don't Spoil?

"Ordinary" bread in my experience runs from about 70-100 calories per ounce. The whole wheat bread I'm eating now (Nature's Pride brand, one slice is 43 grams) has 110 calories, so about 72 calories per ounce. I calculated the JMT bread at about 73 calories per ounce, but I'd sure like someone to check that; it seems low. It is very dense; a small slice weighs about 2 ounces.

I usually bake JMT bread for a long time to dehydrate. It is a very
hard bread. I might be also wrong in calculation, because the
calories of food are indicated in metric system( 100 gram). In my
experience, this bread has several times higher calorie than the
  ordinary bread.
