Here are more hiker photos who've reached the halfway point near 
Chester, CA.   The herd seems to have passed, but hikers continue to 
come through.

As I just said, I too came through that area. A difficult situation: I forgot my camera. When I saw the half way post I died a thousand deaths wishing I had my camera (then and many other times). I am delighted to say I met Lo and passed two other thru hikers on Sunday the 1st. No other people till the Domingo Springs camp ground on the afternoon of the 3rd.
