I have a recommendation for Islip Saddle to Agua Dulce. It is NOT official, but would get you here if you want to link your footsteps between Mexico and Canada. Contact me off post for more info.

>Unfortunately there is no official detour for the Station Fire yet. Hopefully the PCTA will publish one soon. The closure extends from Three Points to Soledad Canyon. The frog closure extends from Islip Saddle to three Points and requires a road walk, so at this point there is no reason to go past Islip Saddle. It seems most of the early hikers have been getting off trail at Inspiration Point, going down into Wrightwood and arranging rides (or hitching) to Agua Dulce. I know there has been talk of finding a combination of trails and backroads to get you down from Islip Saddle and over to Soledad Canyon but there is nothing official yet.
