[pct-l] Basil?

I saw basil in late august while I was doing some magic near brietenbush lake (between jeff park and olallie lake). He seemed in good spirits and said he was ahead if most hikers.

Does anyone know if Basil finished? We saw him a bunch of times this year... Last I heard he had made it to the Dinsmores? Where is he now?
