Specific shoe models and brands are probably not going to help you. I find 
that the lightweight trail running shoes and constantly being updated.

I can never find the shoes I liked last year because they have been replaced 
with a newer model.  Now when I find a shoe I really like it is usually late 
in the year so I buy all the remaining inventory of a specific model. Last 
year Marcia bought 6 pairs of Nike Free trail runners and I bought 4 pairs 
of New Balance MR790BK trail runners. We both have a couple pairs left. 
Funny thing is the different colors of my shoe had different features even 
though they had the same model number.
