[pct-l] first snow in san gabriels section d

Mammoth Mountain opened the day after I walked out of the Sierra a  
couple weeks back...  After 18 hours of steady rain I drove up to the  
view point on White Mtn Rd in thirty to fifty mph winds and got one  
very spectacular view.
