[pct-l] re; host / hustle houses

Yes, we're all on well and septic systems out here, and most of us
(depending on where we live) have to have our wells augmented with trucked
in water during the summer months. We get water delivered about every two
to three days with our new larger water tank (we used to get it delivered
EVERY day during hiker season with our smaller tank. I have no idea on
these stats other than "lots and lots!" As to the dogs, they are:

Shady
Fozzie
Sammy
Buddy
Bitsy
Nally
Milo
Mikey

The dogs love hiker season as much as we do, except for Shady, the grouchy
one. The cats are Daisy, Mazy Motorhead, and Mister E. Horses are Rick &
Emmy.

In reference to Kari's comment on the water being trucked in and after
having seen the "operation" in full swing...

It is truly AMAZING! Have you ever written up the simple logistics/
numbers and processes?

How many packages you get/send; each season, largest day, etc
Heaviest package?
Are you on well water? (and is that why the remaining water is
trucked?)
How much water is trucked in how often?
Are you on city waste water or septic system? (so many of us take
flushing the toilet so casually! ;-)
My understanding is that much (all?) of the area is septic tanks.
How many loads of laundry do you do a day/season?
In your loaner shoes and clothes, what are the largest and smallest
sizes you have?
There was a guy there recently that needed size 14 shoes!
How many "Saufley Electric" t-shirts do you go through?
I'm sure I'm missing other "stats" that would be cool to know...
Lastly, what are the names of all the dogs? Mikey is the only one I
know, and that's only because Helen likes him sooooooo much!

It really is astounding.
