[pct-l] Out of Contact Hikers on PCT

Yep, their last SPOT was definitely from the water fountain:

I've scanned the journals for May 5,6,7. Lots of trail names given so 
nothing obvious was found.

9 days is a long time to be out of touch. My first 'guess' is they probably 
went on a bender in Palm Springs. They may have quit their hike and are 
embarrased to tell anyone, especially if someone else is paying for it; 
happens more frequently than one may guess. Ugly statement, but there it is.

I know it's hard not to worry, but they'll turn up safe and sound I'm sure.
